静かに、深く、語りかける絵を描く人がいます。
東京生まれ。慶應義塾大学で美学美術史を学び、毎夏をフランスで過ごしてきた彼女は、美術館や街のリズムの中で「時間」や「記憶」と向き合い、独自の感覚を育んできました。

祖父は小説家・胡桃沢耕史、叔父はジャズピアニスト・渋谷毅。言葉と音楽に囲まれて育った背景は、彼女の絵に詩的な構造と柔らかなリズムを刻み込んでいます。

〈Artist Introduction〉
There is an artist whose paintings speak softly and profoundly.
Born in Tokyo, Niina Shimizu studied aesthetics and art history at Keio University and spent every summer in France, where she deepened her sensibility among museums and the quiet rhythm of the streets. Her works often explore themes of time, memory, and emotional stillness.
Niina’s artistic roots are steeped in cultural richness—her grandfather was novelist Kohji Kurumizawa and her uncle, jazz pianist Takeshi Shibuya. Surrounded by words and music from a young age, she infuses her paintings with poetic structure and subtle rhythm.
